Your Thoughts on Borders?

I have talked to many of my friends and peers while playing the game and it seems to be a general consensus that the borders given this year look like absolute monstrosities. They look (in my own personal opinion) like Riot had "Bring Your Child to Work Day" on the absolute wrong day. I worked for 3 solid years, many thousands of games and countless hours to reach Diamond. Multiple hundreds of dollars were spent along the way also. I got there only to be defeated by the awful looking borders. I do not mean to offend but the borders from seasons past disgrace this new one in a ridiculous fashion. I assume I will have to grow accustomed to them eventually but in all honesty, these terrible looking features may just be bad enough to make me want to not play. Seriously. I despise the border more than all of the toxic players in the game. Had to get that off of my chest, let me know what you think. I do realize this is not "constructive criticism" whatsoever but I am open to discussion with whomever wants one. I love you Riot, but damn the borders...
