Her new bio is just perfect. It has everything that was core to her; compassion, ˝fall from grace˝ and travelling healer.
It connects her to so many factions. As mentioned in bio:
_ Freljord _ ; She traveled to heal to the most severe frost bites. Could she hold some connections to 
mother ? has she encountered Lissandra( is she aware of her guise?) or does she hold any connection the new healers mentioned in Ashe's new comic?
Zaun ; She heals the lungs of people affected by the alchemic Gray. Has she meet 
? I presume,they get along? I would a story with those two.
Ionia ; ˝Same what we already knew from the ˝Dreaming Pool˝

I love Soraka and I love this new lore. It fits perfectly with the personality Raka fans grew to love. Words alone cannot describe how happy I am for this christmas present from Rito.
First a new PJ Raka skin, then a Winter skin that we've been asking for for years, and now new lore. It's been a great year to be a Raka main.
Her new lore even references her gameplay, it hurts her to heal others but she does it anyway because she's so selfless. lowkey I also feel they did it as a balance tool in lore, so she can't just heal people 24/7
Elunes in this thread pretty much summed up all the references to other factions and her travels and I won't just repeat all their points verbatim but I will wholeheartedly agree with them.
She's related to Syndra :D! I mean we already knew that but now it's official :DDDD I love you Riot.

Kind of sad to see her old lore go, as limited as it was. This side of Raka certainly has much more direction, though.

The lore team messed something up. They say she's lilac but I'm pretty sure she's blue in-game.
It's thrilling and relieving to read the new lore after years of anxious waiting and worrying signs that she might be pinned to Targon or being a seer. I read her bio+short story and get the impression of a wise, well-travelled kindred soul who holds no allegiance to any nation or individual, only her self-chosen mission to help the needy and help them find their way in the world, if they wish it. I love the restriction Riot placed on her on how people have to want to be helped. She can't just do what she wants, they have to accept her aid. Kinda actually gives her taunt life in a way.
I have to applaud the writers who contributed to this amazing much needed lore overhaul for our favourite goaticorn, I am thrilled that her central themes were maintained and improved on.
Although... a wee typo here:

I'm probably way off-base here, but I wonder if the tribe of vastaya Soraka is watching over has anything to do with Kayle and Morgana. I think at some point there was talk of the two of them being moved to Targon in a lore update.
