PROJECT: Warwick the more I remember the origins of PROJECT: skins the more I've come to appreciate
If some of you may recall, a lot of the PROJECT: skins could presumably be based off the likenesses of characters and assets from the Metal Gear Solid/Rising franchise.
PROJECTS: and their likenesses Fiora -> Raiden Zed -> Metal Gear Ray, shadows representing mass production Yasuo -> Jetstream Sam Katarina -> Monsoon Leona -> Sundowner Master Yi -> Gray Fox
A bit of a stretch: Lucian -> Liquid Ocelot (retaining his human right hand) Ashe -> Solid Snake (eyepatch, fighting for the good of humanity) Ekko -> Otacon (the intel guy)
Vi, Vayne, and Jhin are unbeknownst to me. (Though I find it awesome that Quinton Flynn, the voice actor of Raiden in the Metal Gear Solid and Rising, also has a voice for skin whose origins are loosely tied to Metal Gear Solid.)
Now where we are now, I'm starting to realize more and more, and now have an appreciation for PROJECT: Warwick.
It's safe to say that PROJECT: Warwick is Bladewolf from Metal Gear Rising. And being an outcast or prototype, similar to that of IF LQ-84i, Bladewolf's prototypical form.
Edit:
Still a bit of a stretch but I still wanted to include them: Jhin's head -> Otacon's Metal Gear Mk. II Vayne -> Olga Gurlukovich, she seems to come and go, but ultimately wants to destroy what created/modified her.
DOUBLE EDIT:
PROJECT: TALON COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT CANDIDATE TO FILL IN FOR SOLIDUS!
