Tbf, project had borders already made traditionally for every project skin besides yasuo. He was the only one without as every single other project had one.
Star Guardian hasn't really set any standards right now that "SG should always come with a border" like PROJECT did. Its just 5 out of 10 skins with the border compared to 8 out of 9. If last season's skins+this seasons got borders, there would be argument for SG lux getting one too, but its not like those without borders are out numbered. It was a missed opportunity.
im guessing the borders are going to be like mission style, which would suck if you can not get all the borders without paying money
