So I've been seeing alot of things about how League champions are over sexualized. Now don't get me wrong, I do understand, and agree with the idea of what people are fighting for, but this article does a good job of stating my feelings on the matter, and is very well written. I think everyone (on both sides of the fence) can get something out of this.
Overall the general problem people seem to have with "sexualized female characters" is not "OMG we are not allowed to have sexy female characters!!!",but more along the lines
"Riot explore some other stuff for female characters,we have already tons of overly sexy ones,it gets monotone over time"
as well as
"please make it so that the sexy outfit is also fitting for the character.It is fine that Ahri,Zyra,Elise,etc.are wearing sexy outfits since these characters are meant to be sexy,it is part of their character and adds to them,but why does caitlyn a professional sheriff wander around in something that looks like a stripper outfit?"
OMG, I agree with EVERYTHING, the woman who wrote the article said. Sometimes, things are taken out of context and overly done.
Some people look so hard for anything remotely "sexy" or "feminine" that they objectify the female character, so they could bring about a point.
Sometimes, the only thing wrong is the fact that somebody says it's wrong.
In this rare case, I'll recommend that you read the comments.

I found that really interesting :) There is indeed a place for sexiness in gaming, and a place to tone it down.
