Chinese splashes.

Riot I'm not saying you're ignoring your fan base at this rate. But the Chinese splash art on Karthus's main skin was totally not needed. Like to me, some of the chinese splash arts are too cartoony and a down grade of your current work, you could of DONE SO MUCH BETTER to this whole thing. I get not everyone can stop and drop to work on new splash arts but come on. Now you're pretty much just asking for everyone on NA to get angry and that expecting americans to like the whole "ANIME" style more then they should. (Face it not everyone prefer to watch anime.) Its saying that you're just making it out to no put effort into things unless its a NEW champion to give NA some beautiful quality art work. Like: Taric rework, Tristana, Poppy, etc. Those work beautiful it attracts people to want to GET things more, its something that you kinda shouldn't throw behind you and think everyone is automatically going to be O.K. with all of your changes like that.

If anything, specific splash arts work nicely for replacements but most of them just DONT work. You can use them for a temporary band-aid but really, you'd do a bit better on the splash work of SOME arts. People do care about the splash arts looking like their in game skin, people do care from what I've seen that it doesn't prefer it to look cartoony; straight out of a Manga or comic book.

For acceptable permanent splash arts (personal view): Road Warrior MF (Nice and well worked, try that with the vandle skins) Grim Reaper Karthus (Needs a bit more detail other then that great!) Irelia's classic (Needs a bit more detail on shading but lovely) Masquerade Evelyn (seriously looks awesome just fix a bit of shading on the legs) Boom Boom Blitz (Needs a little more 3D imagery pop but its fine other then that) Midnight Ahri ( Model is fine the background looks super washy and cartoony) Crimson Akali (Nice, but she's allowed to cut off heads and Cho/Graves can't smoke? wtf? ) Silver Fang Akali (Awesome keep it that way it looks VERY well done.) Vancover Amumu (Nice but let's keep the idea of the champion popped out) Regift Amumu (Amazing well done. Better shading behind him but well done! ) Arctic Warfare Cait (Good splash art, back ground skill cartoony, and the gun needs to be pulled a bit more away from preventing blending.) Hextech Janna (Like the postion of the splash and the idea of the way she posed, but the cartoony factor needs to be away from it ) Temple Jax (Love it, its unique its not actually like others where It could be better because it looks like someone took the skins and made orginal ink art from it, but a little clean up around the hat a bit and you're fine! ) Acolyet Lee Sin (Might want to pull then hand out a bit from behind because it nearly could be part of the background, amazing on the works still looks like they made it a new champion when its a skin.) Head hunter Yi, (Awesomely done, just make sure that it doesn't blend with the back ground the actual skin is kinda hard to see a bit. ) Frozen Terror Nocturn ( LOVE the skin itself, just needs less of a painty look to it. SO unless its actual paint you were using meow. ) Gangster Twitch (Uhm...Fix the nose a bit you'll be fine after that. o.O Cause it looks a bit funky) Primal Udyr, (Well done love the poses decent quality and the stances are made, the stacking part is a bit weird but it will survive! )

** What I prefer to Riot make a better splash art FOR:** Sivr, We love her skins, but anime styling that isn't the way to go. Volcanic Wukong, Looks a bit weird dont you think? Vindicator Vayne, come on her glasses look really weird. Twitch, I dont suggest honestly touching unless you plot for a better splash then the chinese they just make most of his skins look weird. Recon Teemo, too flat and cartoony could be a bit better, and nice colors just a bit too flat. Renegade Talon, DONT DO IT IT LOOKS WAY TOO TRY HARD COMIC BOOK VILLAIN, keep it the way it is. Bone Claw Shyvana, The current one IS FINE dont change it. Niddalee (french and Pharaoh), try to make it look like Snow Bunny or Leopard. Lux, (Spell thief) Dont do it, take the splash art we have right now and clean it up its fine. Morganna (Exiled and Sinful), Exiled meh, you could try again because its kinda too blurg at her face it doesnt look like her to me. Sinful, honestly in this splash art it looks like someone stepped on her foot to shove a dick in her face. No offense it just doesn't look good and its more of a down grade. Unmasked Kayle, She looks like she needs to get a tan so badly. and its just way to cartoony on her wings, but nicely done for the rest of the splash try pulling it out a bit. Sakura Karma, It looks kinda more manga style the last one was fine, just you could of cleaned it up a bit. Love the fan high lights though. Shadow Evelyn, Let's just not make her cartoony, sexy pose but it could be upgraded more to Tango quality. Dynasty Ahri, : / Back to the maga heavy thing, the eyes just make it look too much like it.

PS: Love the Swain update classic skin, VERY VERY beautiful, please whoever made that splash art give them something for working hard on it. I'd love to see that person work more on skins and other champions.
