What if the Dark Star´s really aren´t that evil?

I recently played Darksiders 2 and there was a part in the Story that reminded me of the Dark Star thematic.

To maintain the Balance in the Universe, Stars, Planets, entire Worlds are created, but at the same time, there must be an end to some other things, who get sucked into chaos to dissappear, as only a Balance between Creation and Destruction could maintain the Universe. So what if the Dark Star was, at some Point, created to establish such a Balance, and let´s say for every world that is made, the DS claims another world, with the DS Skins depicting his minions. Ofc Thresh Shows they have a rather... destructive personality, but if you listen to DS Thresh´s VO he doesn´t really sound evil, more of the "Mortal, this is your fate, just accept it and stop the struggle, I can´t help it either" way, at least for me.

This is, of course, a really weird way to see it, but it is actually an interesting question who or what decides when the time for a world has come. Even though they are just supposed to be huge dark apocalyptic threats from space, it would be cool to see more behind their exitence than just pure "WE SHALL CONSUME EVERYTHING!"

This is what we call a "chaotic evil", where something or someone destroys because that's just what they do. Sure while it's not the worst thing there is, it's still pretty bad I say.

I mean, if someone is born with the strange urge to kill, we shouldn't just let them do whatever to appease themselves because "well we can't help it", now do we?

But then again, "good" and "evil" is largely a concept that relies are perspectives, so there is a lot of flexibility with this thing. Still, there are fundamentals.

I see them kinda like DBS's Beerus. Just gods of destruction doing their job so that new life can take its place.
