Why are new star guardian skin borders behind a paywall?
Prior skin borders were all obtained by skin purchase or through some achievement. Either way, they weren't bought solely.
Is this going to become a new business model for the future skins?
I'm not sure why the downvotes. You have a good point.
At the very least, if they were going to put them behind the paywall, they should've said so when the borders were revealed instead of keeping it a "secret" until release, implying that acquiring them was going to have to do with something we didn't have complete info of yet, like missions as example.
They were kinda bought concidering with the first project skin wave the skins were normal priced in the first week that gave the border and then got a price reduction in the 2nd week in which you didnt get the border, if i remember correctly.
I agree! I bought my rp before the skins even came out, hoping that if i bought sg ahri early i'd get the border (like with the elementalist lux skin and border), but now i have to pay extra for it? [sg-ahri-1]
