Critiique on Fiora's shoulder pad size

The new Fiora's shoulder pads look awkward on her otherwise sleek design. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before I know the whole hair color thing was an issue for a while. It's really been bugging me since I've seen the in game model, a visual distraction so to speak, I didn't notice them in the slash art which is how they should be in game. Also the shoulders size are counter to her theme as a duelist, an opponent could use them to get some easy leverage on her, Fiora being this master fighter wouldn't wear something so silly. Now don't get me wrong I like my some stylized shoulder wear(avid WoW fan here) but I don't think they fit Fiora. :x Otherwise I think it looks quite lovely. Thanks for reading!

My first impression was that they had to do with readability, a design value in which Riot has invested quite a lot recently.

The shape and size of Fiora's pauldrons and cape-thing, as well as the gold-white color scheme are probably meant to give her a more recognizable silhouette, making easier for all players to distinguish where she is at any given moment, as well as to instantly perceive the direction in which she is moving.

Giving that her new kit revolves so heavily upon positioning and maneuvering, her old fuzzier model probably just didn't cut it.
