Interesting Female Darkin Theory

(Posted this on reddit earlier and thought I should post it here as well)

"When I unite the five you will all kneel" So there are 5 confirmed Darkin left alive, and how many champions make up a League of Legends team comp? 5. We have: Aatrox (Top Laner), Kayn / Rhaast (Jungler) and Varus (ADC). So possibly these last 2 might be a viable mid laner or support. But what abilities or weapon / item could they be? We have the Blade, Scythe and Bow.

"Blood magic? We gave that to you" This whole new lore update / comic includes this quote to explain that the Darkin were the original blood mages, who granted this gift to the mortals some time ago. This new Darkin might possibly be a blood mage of sort. However we already have Vladimir so a blood mage thematic would have to have something completely different to Vlad or play a different role.

I like to pose a theory that the new champion might be a support of sort that damages, or saps, the life-force out of enemies and heals allies. Think of the physical manifestation of the item Redemption. Aatrox's 'mana' bar is called 'blood', so what could be a cool idea is whenever this champion damages an enemy with an ability and saps the blood, it fills up the secondary bar which can be stored and used to heal allies - sort of like Athene's Unholy Grail, where you damage enemies and store charges to heal. So as a weapon or item, they might have an amulet of sorts that holds the stored blood charges that is the darkin.

Varus sighed. “Where are you, sister?” he said. This here hints that Varus' first mission is to find his sister, so will we see the first female Darkin in the game?

There is some debate on the 5, even Rhaast doesn't know exactly how many Darkin are left.

From the themes the other Darkin have, it would be safe to assume the next Darkin is a scale, like the kind used to weigh things, the only timey ones with the 2 dishes with chains on a rod. The scale represents famine, balance, and justice. One dish takes as the other gives. The "great balance" mentioned in the comic might have to do with the Darkin scale.

I believe the scale has been purified, like how Kayn can purify the scythe and transform into Shadow Assassin Kayn, and is being used by the golden armored queen and is this Great Balance. But in becoming the Great Balance the queen's soul became split in 2, one becoming a being of light, and the other of dark and was sealed away.

And now that Rhaast, Aatrox and Varus are free, they will tip the scale and release the dark side of the queen that once sealed away the Darkin.

And personally, I think the 2 halves of the queen are already in the game, and are fully playable, but will be relaunched together to fit the new Darkin narrative. Kayle Morgana

I would prefer they remain sexless, despite having human male or female host bodies that reshape their appearance (aka yes to gender, no to sex when it comes to the Darkin).
