So Riot has just announced the long awaited (2 years btw) champion Ao Shin or now know as Aurelion Sol, will be released sometime during the first half of 2016. I personally just wanted to know what you guys think of what his abilities will be and in which role he will best fit when more information is available.
i think he will be an ap mid judging by Ao Shin's design/concept if it wasn't scrapped for a new one

I think that "just" is a bit of a stretch considering that the announcement was a day ago...
Buuut anyway: The name Aurelion Sol basically means golden sun,so it is likely that he'll be sun-related,which means he'll most likely end up on Mt.Targon or Shurima(personally I think targon is more likely). In the announcement they don't give any information about Aurelios body shape except for hinting a bit at the fact that he'll most likely have claws,but if he has the more typical dragon shape,then he could end up as a fighter-ish champ.
We literally have nothing to go on for that :P
His concept as a storm dragon was scrapped if I read that post correctly. As was his lore and possibly his body shape as well. Whatever it ends up being though, I look forward to playing it... a lot...
