Something that bothers me a lot about New Champions and VGUs

Is that the newest champion gets to have "the last word" concerning taunts/jokes or any other character related dialogue.

The only exception to this has been Xerath that got some new lines when Azir came out (possibly because his VGU was also pretty recent and they had the lines ready).

Champions interactions are a huge part of the characters involved and while I understand that you cannot have a neverending dialogue between them it feels pretty lame, for example, to have Cait, Jayce, Viktor, Vi etc. having no reply to Camille.

It's not really an easy to fix thing considering it requires riot to call in the voice actors for those champions across all of their languages, write VO for them and have THAT translated in to the necessary languages, get it recorded, do however many takes it'll take, and implement the lines while also getting any special effects needed for the VO (special effects and the like).

Takes a while. It's unfortunate, but not really an easy thing to fix and likely something Riot's ok with having left out considering the sheer amount of work that'd be needed to get this done for all of the cast.

Trying to recall who has mutual dialogue so to speak:

AurelionSol and Taric Karthus and Sion Sivir and Azir Sivir and Cassiopeia Nasus and Renekton Azir and Xerath

Those are the main ones that come to mind that I remember.

Some ones that could crop up in the near future:

Camille and Warwick since she already taunts him and he's getting a VGU, so he might bite back. Galio and Sion / Poppy both are champions who taunt Galio and his VGU may give him something to say back. Poppy's isn't all that bad really, since it's an ally taunt.

I mean, Shen always has a taunt ready for the new champions...
