Narrative Paths - Which Will Riot Take?

It pains me that Riot doesn't have a narrowed down lore. I read that blog post saying about starting from scratch of just what the League and the Summoners really are—I written novels and starting towards a new direction rather fleshing out the League and not make it a massive event is downright difficult to do. This universe has been active for years so...why haven't they expanded besides new champions, short videos, an event or two, or reading through the Story & Art board of fellow passionate Summoners.

If Riot wants to make this universe memorable, they have to expand their narrative, no question. The Ekko comic is one such avenue Riot can take. Webcomics are coming up every day it seems so I'd be very happy they continue this, more importantly release content on the Rune Wars and the establishment of the League. Makes me wonder why haven't they approached authors to novelize events and/or champions, but hey, I'll be so into writing a novel or two if I get the chance at the IP.
