The Freljord Event - Revival

Out of all the lore and stories surrounding LoL and the champions therein, is there any as interesting and dynamic as the Freljord lore?

Avarosan, Winter's Claw, and Frostguard - people enjoyed picking a side that they related to. More so than just: "Am I a bad-ass like or a shady guy like ?"

After the Freljord event the results on every server were shockingly close to being perfect thirds in terms of sides chosen. I'm not saying this is a perfect indicator, but the three unique choices was a very cool part of the overall event.

TL;DR My question: Will The Freljord ever be revisited as an event? Note: I mean, you guys freakin' killed off .
Can't betray or something to make another similar event meaningful/impactful?

I think riot will revisit it someday(probably next year). Riot has their hands full.

I love the freljord story and backgrounds. It alone can be a full DreamWorks movie. There's kingdoms, wars, legendary braum, actual trolls, evil witch with an epic name and ice/ancient/aliens. And I'm expecting a new freljord champ along with event like tahm stench

The Freljord lore is pretty good. I especially like the interesting comparisons between the leaders. We have Ashe, the young, perky, upbeat diplomat with the powerful husband who is... actually kind of a bad leader if the fact her tribesmen defect on a semi-regular basis is anything to go by, and utterly reliant on something that the Freljord isn't well-suited for (Agriculture). Sejuani is the xenophobic racist barbarian whose strategy is 'Kill first, ask questions never...' but she's also the strongest leader, arguably the smartest of the trio, and the only one who is truly independent (with Ashe beholden to Demacia and Lissandra being owned by the Elder Ones). Lissandra is suave, slick, and easily the most powerful of the three... but she's also bought and paid for by the Watchers and, if the fact she hasn't taken over the Freljord in thousands of years is anything to go by, also an idiot, or at least a terrible planner.

My guess is when they remake Tryndemere we will have an event.

Uhm if I remember correctly,the results weren't perfect thirds. the Frostguard were number 1 with quite an advantage(makes sense considering they just got a new champion that defined their tribe).

Anyway while I agree that a second freljord event would be cool,the other nations need such an event much more,because they are barely defined by anything.

I'm sure they'll revisit the Freljord event but for now I think they're trying to give other regions equal treatment. There was Shurima (although that was a bit weak) and then Bilgewater (which was awesome). I think they'll probably try to do events for Demacia, Noxus, Piltover and Zaun, the Shadow Isles and Ionia before they revisit/rehash the Freljord.

I'm guessing no.

And if precedent is any indication, the Freljord will be revisited only to rewrite the stories that are already there.

Lissandra kills some champion and we get DARK ICE base skin.

Imagine Dark ice Sejuani, that would be cool... and sad :(

If they revisit the Freljord I would love to see an Avarosa skin for Ashe and Serylda for Sejuani.

I also want to know what those demon looking statue are that hang from the Howling Abyss. Are they the Watchers? Their soliders?

I also definitely want to see vs Lissandra

I honestly thought the freljord event was super lame because nothing freaking happened. They retconned a few champions lore to fit them into these factions and then did nothing with the story.

Chapter 1: There is war in the Freljord! You much choose a side!

i dunno, i thought the picking sides thing in the freljord even was kind of lame. only did it for the icon which i never use anyways. same with this event now that i think about it.
