Stop Labeling The Dragon A Drake Please
It's demeaning, and making me cry. While they are similar, dragons and drakes are two different branches.

Yes, I can't see any of the dragons rap ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Or ones with feathers & swim in water.
All my high plat/diamond friends say drake, and my lower elo friends say dragon, maybe i should start saying drake...
Well the term drake isn't consistend anyway.
Sometimes it is used to differentiate between winged and wingless dragons, but othertimes it is used as word for smaller dragons with animal-like intelligence, when the "true" dragons are bigger with human like intelligence, which might be the case here;)
Hmm, perhaps. Damn pet peeves making me crazy.
Can we complain more about how shyvana isn't a dragon but a psuedo-wyvern?
To clarify dragons are 6 limbed creatures and wyverns are 4, psuedo-wyverns have 4 limbs but also walk on all fours. If you played "monster hunter" its basically the difference between the tigrex and the rathalos
The thing is that shyvana has also some characteristics that are clearly not wyvern-like,since Wyvern are pretty much never able to breath fire or have human-like intelligence.
In the end all these different kinds of dragon-classifications are up to the individual fantasy-universe,I mean look at the lord of the rings film-universe,where the nazgul are riding Wyvern, while Smaug is a dragon who still has a wyvern-like body type.

To be fair in the books Smaug very much did have 6 limbs, the movies just didn't do that because... I don't know Peter Jackson said something about not liking the look? Who knows the Hobbit movies were a mess anyway.
That said, yeah, the terms dragon, drake, wyrm, wyvern, etc. have all been used in many ways depending on the writer. Attempting to specifically claim one was specifically linked to a type of creature is a bit apocryphal as the original legends never ironed out the details themselves. They were all just draconic creatures.
The word "wyvern" usually isn't used, probably because it is the french version of the word "drake".

Half Dragon.
Half Bat.
In the lore, no one call the dragon(s) a "drake"
Not in the lore no. But the buff does.
