Skins For New Champions VS Old Champions

Just wondering if it bothers anyone else that a lot of Leagues newer champions are still sitting on their release skins/two skins max while older champions just keep piling on new skins over and over.

Considering that a champion like Tristana for example now has about 9 total skins you can have after the release of the Omega Squad line and someone like Illaoi who has been out for about a year and a half now still only has her release skin don't you think that Riot should be putting more priority on getting additional skins for their newer champions?

I know that for me at least I've been playing a lot of Camille lately and feel like maining her at the moment but the only skin she has is something that isn't my style at all and it feels kind of bad in my opinion to be playing a champion so consistently but not showing any kind of commitment to the champion by playing solely on their base skin.

I know it might sound like all I'm doing is complaining here about having things my own way but I'm honestly curious as to why Riot wouldn't try to get out more skins for their newer champions soon after release to add further incentive to play new champions over old ones after release and keep the game feeling more fresh instead of seeing the same old Caitlyns and Oriannas being played year after year especially considering how low the play rates of champions like Illaoi, Aurelion Sol, and Camille seem to be.

Either way whatever your opinion leave some thoughts in the comments below I would like to know what other people think and thanks for reading if you bothered to do so.

The great problem is that Many of the newer champions are not played as often as the older ones When it comes down to it, money talks, and you'll have more people willing to pay for the skins of the more used and familiar champions

Take Jhin for example One of the newer champions but is one of the most played amoung them on any rank and so he has gotten more skins then all of the other newer champions

I've also been playing Camille and I've seen many awesome concepts that people made which I hope will be seen in one form or another soon and not subject her to the skin limbo

And if riot wants to focus on tweeking and giving new skins to the older champions then they should just stop adding new champions all together and focus on the older champions till they're all perfectly balanced Then we can add more champions to the roster who've gotten the complete and utter attention of all the teams to make a good champion

But hey I don't make games so let's just see how it all goes and hopefully by the end of the year riot has a good solid idea of its distribution of resources

Yea you definitely have a point with the Jhin thing I just think that one of the reasons people don't play some of the newer champions is because Riot starts them off with skins that just aren't very good and maybe being released with a better skin they might have gotten more attention.

Though I do feel like in Jhin's case being favored so heavily by pros and streamers like Sneaky definitely made more people want to play him thus Riot in turn added more skins to keep the bandwagon going.
