Music on the Rift

(I was required to write a mini-paragraph about video games so I chose to do this. Have fun reading!)

So, something I think is severely underappreciated in League is the music. This is probably the case in most video games, but since I play this game so much, I thought I should probably write it here. We probably don't realize the soft tunes of Summoner Rift's music because we're too busy dodging Blitz hooks, Pyke hooks, Thresh hooks... (look, the point is that there are a lot of hooks) or we're too engrossed in the gameplay or graphics. Another thing I wanted to mention about the music are the champion themes. If you haven't come across the mini Behind The Scenes of how Rito writes and creates the songs, I highly suggest you watch them, because they are 1) super entertaining and 2) highly informative. (I've linked my favourite one for you to enjoy too!) Some of the "instruments" used in the music are also extremely imaginative, such as dry ice on metal chains for Dark Star Thresh's theme.

So just take a moment, the next time you load into Howling Abyss or Summoner's Rift (Twisted Treeline ehhhHhhH) to stop a while and listen to the music. (But make sure you don't stand still long enough to get flamed by the "M7" Yasuo on your team!)

Jaguar out! [poppy-wink]

I kinda feel like the music can be used in more ways then just the login screens. The music of a champion lets say Ornn should be played when you pick him until the start of the game. Or the background music should be Ornn's theme if you are playing Ornn. Or only in the beginning of the game like the first minute or something. Like how GGMF has her theme in the start. Its really sad that many many people dont even know that login music is changing like all the time. They dont even know that every champion is getting their own music fitting for their character. Its really sad for all of the afford and time spend in some truly great music to be forgotten or not even noticed by the players
