Blood Moon Jhin Updated Recall Animation?

So I noticed in the new, updated skin spotlight for Blood Moon Jhin, his recall no longer gives him that dark red-model-appearance-thingy at the end. PBE version: https://youtu.be/RK1us57TL7Q?t=18 Updated version: https://youtu.be/jcS4wh1v_8o?t=69 If you compare the two, specifically at the end, the updated Jhin no longer has the dark red, painted model at the end, while the old version did. Is there any reason for this and will it be added back? I would just like to know, since I feel as if this recall really makes the skin.

Hey! While I didn't have a hand in this particular skin, so I don't have too much context, but it was removed intentionally, and the team felt it wasn't a necessary component for the recall. Please keep in mind that PBE is a beta realm, and changes are made throughout the patch, which means that what you see day one may not be what the final skin has.

We Jhin players felt it added that extra, beauty to the skin. It further emphasized the artist, very creatively as well. Wish it would have stayed for the full release.

Yeah i prefer the pbe recall. It gives that sense of the artist and the art becoming whole. It also gave that demonic touch he deserves. Also it gives cohesion for the respawn animation. If we want to look at the skin for what jhin is in the blood moon "universe", i think you could call him the "ink demon", parallel toclassic jhin who is the "golden demon". I'm sure that blood moon jhin with that pbe recall it would just be perfect.

I was hyped up to see that the skin had the dark red model once again in the Hunt of the Blood Moon video, but it seems like the skin in game doesn't have it, at least from my experience. Any chance that they're going to add the effects? It would be pretty messed up to show it has the effects once again only to find out it actually doesn't.[zombie-nunu-tears]

Hi!

We don't have plans to make additional changes to the particular skin.

The Hunt of the Blood Moon game mode does have a red lighting effect, among other things, which will gives skins a bit of a different appearance. This is why it can be misleading to check out third party coverage (like Skin Spotlights) of skins. :c

The images in the official PBE post are without the game mode activated, and show what she looks like in regular Summoner's Rift lighting. The textures were darkened a bit more from release, but you get a much more accurate representation from those images.

I hope that this gets added back in, along with the ink footprints when he gets tier 2 boots. Little touches like that really brought the skin's painter theme together; without them it's only really supported by his respawn animation.

I beg you for this and others probably too, that you add this back in! Im on my knees here, it made the recall so perfect! But now with this removed its just dull and you know something is missing. (The Recall is still fantastic ofcourse.) Im still so pondered about this, I mean why would you remove it? item 3070
