ok. Lets get straight the point riot. Is the only reason the splash art is being replaced by Chinese ones is because Riot is owned by Tencent which is a Chinese company? I won't say all their splash arts are sub-par (XinZhao Jax for example has pretty cool ones., but some definitely look weird as fuck to me. Riot. NA Riot. Hello? Are you still here? Or is China higher ups beating your ass into doing random things? Replacing the splash arts with the Chinese ones are just plain weird, as they have a completely art style for most of them (including making them more "kid friendly"Annie and "Chinese law abiding" apparently). Can't you get some painters together in your art team and draw up a cool looking splash art that actually FITS THE STYLE OF THE OTHER NA SPLASH ARTS?
The Chinese splash arts have their own style, since most of the other splash arts their already look different and is fine. On the other hand, NA splash art has always been this cool, evil, dangerous, magical feel to the drawings. Please, please, please, bring some the splash arts back. Draw the splash arts in your own style, or at least send a poll to all the players and ask them to decide which to change and keep please......... item 3070

Calm down......The update of splash art never ends......each new splash arts takes about 1 or 2 months to finish, now. Rito definitely knows which is good and which is bad...just give them time, everything will be good, league serves for players , not Tencent or twenty cents.

The chinese ones were chosen because riot thinks that they are simply the better choice from an artistic standpoint and they do this simply because they want to make it so that every region gets the same splash arts,because supporting 2 splash-art pipelines just causes some unnecessary problems.

They are certainly not doing this because they are owned by tencent(though tencent were the ones who made the chinese splashes),because this splash art update also happens in reverse,so everytime a western splash art isn't replaced by the chinese one,it means that china is getting our version of the splash.

And they work already on entirely new splash arts,its just that every splash art can take over a month to get done,so it will take a while before they can update all those splashes.
