Project Vaynes Voice
So did the voice actor for Sivir do the voice for project Vayne because I swear they sound exactly the same.

That's what I thought too??? In the teaser the voice at the end sounded exactly like Sivir's and I remember thinking SIVIR was the one getting the legendary skin. The whole time watching the Project Vayne preview video I couldn't stop thinking about how much it didn't seem like Vayne's voice ._.
I was quite saddened her old voice actress was unavailable. She was half the reason I fell for the champ.
That said the rest of the skin is 10/10. She is so edgy and just as twisted as her lore implies. I am happily in love.
Yeah, I expected a Sivir skin because of the teaser, and hearing PROJECT: Vayne's voicelines there's no way that's not Sivir's VA.
Hey there, I'm the VO Producer at Riot, and I wanted to give you all a heads up as to why we moved in the direction we did on Vayne's VO. When taking a look at the Legendary, we opened up a dialogue about who Vayne is in her base thematic and who she is in the Project universe. When you hear base Vayne, you hear the Gothic horror influences. It's consistent with our remorseless monster hunter, and the melodramatic purr really works to reinforce those thematic elements. When shifting to Project, we found her base VO, while iconic, took away from what we were trying to do with this particular skin. It's always our hope to give players the best possible experience we can. Shifting away from base Vayne's VO and leaning into the Project thematic created the most cohesive experience and one that we were excited to share with all of you.
Wow, here I was thinking they were finally gonna give attention to a champion who's not that popular in soloQ. But of course not. Guess I was stupid for hoping.
Rip probably won't get it now. Vayne's original voice is too good.
