DeadEye Theory: Zed, Garen, Vi, Sona, and Shen.

UPDATE: THE DATES FOR EACH CHAMPION'S 'SKIN' TEASER VIDEO HAS BEEN FOUND IN THE FILES... NOT BY ME.

  2. SONA 12-29-15 TO 12-31-15
  3. GAREN 12-31-15 TO 1-2-16
  4. VI 1-2-16 TO 1-4-16
  5. DEADEYE/JHIN 1-4-16 TO -1-6-16

I don't know if anybody recently went to Zed or Sona's official page, but there is a new teaser (I believe it is) with a short video of a picture of Sona or Zed looking... well dead. They look like they've been shot and the sound before it sounds like a gunshot or a rifle being loaded.

Now if you are really interested, right click the video that pops up for Zed or Sona and save it. Open is as a notepad document or something. Now search for the word Deadeye... you will see a few lines of code saying Garen_deadeyeposter.jg, Vi_deadeyeposter.jpg, Sona_deadeyeposter.jpg, and Zed_deadeyeposter.jpg. Not only this but you will also find a .wav sound file called deadeyechoirl.wav or something of the sorts.

Now this is HUGE!!! Lets get facts down.

  1. Garen is a toplaner
  2. Zed is a midlaner
  3. Vi is a jungler.
  4. Sona is a support.

... so where is the adc?

{UPDATE: Shen theory busted... Riot why... lol. AND The skin theory is also busted. Damn that would make a good skin team tho.}

Theory 1: Now, knowing that Shen is getting reworked makes this whole situation very fishy. Could Shen be reworked into an ADC? We all know Shen is the EYE OF TWILIGHT. So maybe he finally turned to the path of hate and became Deadeye? Shen adc, THE DEADEYE OF TWILIGHT!!! It would explain Zed dying but what about Sona? Zed did kill Shen's father and maybe Shen finally cracked? Who knows?!

Theory 2: Riot, we all love you but sometimes you are just very mysterious... WE LOVE THAT. Knowing that you have done this before for Jinx's release, vandaliing Vi and Caitlyn's pages, we might see a new champion come out. However, will that champion finish the skin team that is also in theory being teased in the video files?

Theory 3: This is going to be a new skinteam. Buuuuuuttt... The skin won't be called deadeye... AS THAT IS THE NEW ADC!!! The skins will be called maybe "Wanted" or "Target" making sense as maybe Deadeye is a payed killer. I am feeling like maybe we might see someone like Caitlyn come out. Not necessarily Caitlyn herself but someone who's kit is similar. This champion may use guns or rifle, based off of the sounds heard in the videos. (Sona's reloading gun sound and Zed's gunshot sound)

[UPDATE!!!: THE NEXT CHAMPION WITH THE TEASER VIDEO WILL BE GAREN! I don't think it is a coincidence the the order of the teasers is in this order Zed (3), Sona (4), Garen (5), Vi (6), Deadeye (7)!

Theory 4: I believe that this new champ may just be targeting other champs with weaknesses. Zed Zed: Wanting power but getting cursed with shadows in the process. Sona Sona: wanting a voice but she's mute Garen Garen: fighting the one he loves Vi Vi: trying to keep peace but loves to fight. Deadeye/Jhin must also have a weakness or just a particular hate for the champs with weaknesses. Also it is very likely that this new champ is an adc who uses guns.

I must say thank you to Redmercy and Brofresco because I got the information from them. My theories however are mostly my own. Now please comment down below what you think and maybe we might get enough views to attract Riot people to tease us even more!!!

Similarities: Left home at a young age to join another Suffer from regret/guilt Disconnect themselves emotionally Feel wronged by their parent figure in some way (or wronged them) Associate negative emotions with parental figures Suffer from sadness and rage Had good intentions that led to bad consequences Use League as a way to make things right

If they're to release a new champion, based on the art done for the Deadeye, I don't think he's a hired killer, or some vengeance seeker like Kalista. I think Deadeye is going to be some form of release. Sorta like Kindred, the spirits of death. If anything, this Deadeye is targetting those who suffer from guilt, and their negative thoughts/actions maybe are what give him power?

Also, they all have the same weakness in life. They're alone. They all want something they can't have, and bury the emotions. Not only that, but all of them have lost a parental figure in their life. Garen was taken by the military, like his sister Lux. Zed killed his father figure out of rage once he was exiled from home. Sona has no memory of her parents, and her instrument killed her adopted parent. Vi grew up on the streets abandoned and has lived a life alone. They all have lost their parents either through death or some form of rejection. This champion seems heavily focused on the theme of abandonment and regret. I think honestly this is going to be some kind of emotions made manifest champion.
