Where did the lore go? What's happening?
I don't understand.
Are they "re-doing" the lore, or is it just not a thing anymore? The Lore made the game, for me anyways, so interesting!

Turns out issuing a massive retcon without lining up story to replace what you have taken out is exactly as stupid and short sighted as it sounds.
So apparently the Institute of War and the League of Legends in general was hampering the ability of the Narrative team to write how they wanted to. So they announced a retcon and slowly removed mentions of the two when doing reworks. Fans were expecting something besides three sentences on how mysterious a champion is, and here we are, several months in and no solidifying story at all, just some really nice dioramas from the animation team.
Lore is dead.

You've just asked the question too many of us have been asking for... god I honestly don't remember how long any more. Months? Years? Centuries?
Lore or "Project Manhattan" is in its development stage and as it stands, no info about the lore will be publicly know to the public until its official release. The fact that they told us any thing about it is still risky at this point and it may cause the enemies to find out about this plan and steal the blueprints for the project.
