Riot sets up a poll for new splash arts they are thinking about updating, like Spell Thief Lux, everyone votes on which art they like best. It's a good way to update without changing art people like already, like Arctic Warfare Caitlyn!
This is what'll happen: community wants the splash arts updated for numerous splash arts. Riot update's them, players come back around and say "this isn't what we wanted!" I'm convinced this is what would happen!
The problem is that the ones who are not happy with the current splash art are going to be the majority of people who participate in something like that.
The majority might like the current splash art,but won't even notice about something like this happening becuase they don't have a reason to go to the boards and complain about it.
