This year's Snowdown is GIVING ME TEARS OF JOY

Hello people,

I just fired up the launcher to see that intro SWF (Not sure if it's still a flash file as back in the days) and I just wanted to say that I am so amazed by that. First I thought it's the same U.S. American X-mas Whackyness (TM) [Mind me, as German, we do neither turn insane during christmas times nor for Halloween over here in Europe] and still turned on the animation and music. And I am so baffled. The longer I watch it, the better it gets. That's really PIXAR level of animation there (even though the faces should not change/they eyes should not move). That could be a trailer for an upcoming, high quality animated feature right before the obligatory BEN AND JERRY'S ICE CREAM commercial and the next JAMES BOND movie. I don't know why, but I love it so much.

So, I turned on the music, too, and I listen to that kind of music all the day (I am a stock music digger and licenced so many famous tracks made for TV and film) but this is a RIOT-only production, so I sat there, for like 10 minutes, watching this animation, thinking of just sharing my thoughts or not, then I log in, TOTALLY MELT AWAY by that Poppy skin (a 27-year old grown man with beard that loves small, pointy-eared midges, yes, they do exist. No matter if Asura, Lalafell, Yordle or that race of the MMO "Bless"). Just to go back to the animation again. I am so baffled. I am here for 7.5 years now, I own the retail DVD set (with the GOA Logo on it), and the code I bought Firefighter Tristana with.

And in all those years, this, and the Bewitching Tristana skin (and Bard Bard), is the most beautiful thing that is making me stay even trough the roughest times of pre-season screw-ups. It's this art. And the big-eared midget cuteness. I did not want to purchase anymore after Bewitching Tristana, but god damnit, THAT POPPY SKIN, seriously.

Stay that way, RIOT. Your artists deserve the money I am going to pump into my Poppy OTP account.
