Hey DEVS, Galio Rework GOOD, Character Change BAD

As the title suggests, I'm glad that Galio's kit is getting a rework. He desperately needed it...

That said, WHY are you completely changing his character? He was this wonderful, low-key, brooding champion of justice. You've turned him into Golem-Braum. Braum is a great character too, but Galio doesn't need to be his twin. Turning him into a bombastic show-off just ruins the character and honestly, this really annoys me. I'm restraining myself significantly from expressing my outrage here, but I am genuinely pissed.

Because a brooding, Gothic gargoyle really didn't fit in Demacia. The city is white and gold, and bright and full of intense patriotic law and order. Old Galio felt like a massive sore thumb. New Galio is just massive and glorious.

A thousand times I agree. I wish I could upvote this more because you've put into words exactly what I'm feeling.

It's ok that some champions aren't these boisterous extroverts that love to fight. Galio was one of these Champs. He was once the hero that Demacians always shout about becoming. Then he failed. He's also in a unique position to be a long-lived Demacian. These two things gave him a unique spin on Demacian ideals. It's not that he wasn't Demacian enough, it's that he just had a more tempered, careful approach because of his history.

Galio's old personality was a sad yet determined hero, wiser than most. It needed development, but there was something there. New Galio just shouts DEMACIA and while there's nothing wrong with that, it's been done before.

Actually, this Galio is still quiet sad, he only wake up because of magic and he have to destroy the sources of magic everytime to protect other. Here is the part in his short lore entry "But his triumphs are always bittersweet, for the magic he destroys is also his source of re-animation, and each victory leaves him dormant once again." So yeah, Galio used to be all sad and emo, but after certain interaction with someone ( Poppy ), he accept what he is, he became more light heart and happy even though he know that he will die (just imagine Superman in All Star Superman comic) Also there are some lines in his VO that you intentionally missed "Goin' to sleep means sayin' goodbye..." interaction with Poppy "I like you, you are the only one who didn't change"
