Come on Riot,

The new Shaco looks great. Fits well with all the other texture updates and whatnot, but you cannot tell me Masked Shaco looks anything like it does in the splash art.

Check this comparison... Like, I'm tryna have a WILD MANE. AND A GOLDEN MASK. Instead I have two lame ponytails and a face made of steak

This skin rules. The splash art is gorgeous. But I'm tryna feel that cool in game! The texture update is awesome, but our boy Shaco needs a little smidge more love!!

Most skins nowadays have much better splash arts than in-game models. It is false advertisement yes, but that is the catch.

Shaco need a visual upgrade and a rework, and Riot know it, but he is not on their "list" for this year... nor the next one i bet. He is like Yorick Warwick Nunu Poppy Urgot (we might never see those champs upgraded) an endless work in progress. item 3157

I agree on the hair. But the mask is just lighting. Look at Lux - Imperial has a purple outfit, but it's yellow in game. Or that Blue/Black and White/Gold dress. Lighting is powerful. But it shouldn't be so powerful it ruins a perfectly good hairdo. ;)

Yeah, there are a few skins that are SO far from their splash art, they kind of need a rework. Poppy's Battle Regalia is another good example. It looks like awesome gold and silver armour in the splash, but once you're in the game, you look like Big Bird's daughter on her way to a 3rd grade Halloween party.

Riot has already admitted to making superior splash arts for skins that look remarkably different[/worse] in-game.

What's to be done about it? Report Riot to the Better Business Bureau? Sue Riot? You might be able to get a refund from your bank, but Riot will lock your account if you do that. We could try not buying skins, but Riot will continue pumping out pretty splash arts for skins that don't match them and tricking thousands of people into buying said skins.

It's a disgusting practice, but there's not much to do other than complain and pretend that Riot's decision-makers will actually do anything about the issue.

Just wait until the new Shaco skin's splash comes out, and you'll think that the model looks awful in comparison. It's all relative, especially considering how ancient Shaco's rig is.
