Are we going to see a Void Event this year?

When I first started playing, I enjoyed the concept of the Void. In fact, I purchased all the Void Champs first, and mastered them (Im dirt 3/4).. I just think it would be insane if there was a Void update that included a new void champ (a support preferably whose ult could perpahps tele a ally out of harms way), a rework on summoners rift that made it look "voidy," a new item and all that good stuff. If I were to take a guess, this is probably the last area, so to speak, to get an update like we have been seeing, just because it will be freaking crazy. Cmon Riot, it's almost time for the Void to take over!

I kinda doubt that there will be a Void invasion event, if only because the Shadow Isles have taken its thunder as the game world's looming existential threat.

Which is a huge shame.

The Shadow Isles are not, nor have ever been, particularly interesting. Nor can they ever become a true world-threatening force without breaking suspension of disbelief. Demacia and Noxous may not be huge fans of each other, but if Undead Island really did become a world-level threat you can bet that a united Valoran would crush it.

Void is the hardest/ most dangerous place so it will probably be the last one that we get to see
