Will Item Lore Be Looked Into Sometime?

I think fleshing out all the items we see in the shop would be a neat idea, possibly including the items that have been removed (eg. Will of the Ancients, Atma's Impaler). Because most people just see them as pieces of cool looking gear with nice stats, a lore tab for each item in the Items page on the Game Info site would be a good place to read their origins and what potential in power they hold outside the rift, including what they could to who or what is on the receiving end of their creative/destructive abilities.

Their conclusions would be nice too, such as how they were found and taken in by the Institute to be used on the Rift, or the items that have been removed could have been destroyed or locked away somewhere in the deepest chambers of The Vault to be forgotten in time.

But so far we are all still speculating, I mean for all we know, Doran's Blade could have been the first great item that he forged when Ornn was still teaching him.

I don't really want to see that. To much work for the story/lore team to be working in while working on general updates to greater world lore of runterra

Just so you know, the institute doesn't exist any longer. So these items certainly aren't in the possession of a non-existent institute
