Animated series?

Ok, this post may come off as an unoriginal one, but hear me out. With the new animated preview for Bard: The Wandering Caretaker, as well as other 2D animated videos, my mind had started wandering more from gameplay and mechanics to so much more. I mean, an animated series, like the title suggests.

Reason being is because of all of this talent that Riot shows, maybe they can make something that has not just background information and lore on the champions, or one specific location, but with Runterra itself. I mean, yeah, we have info of places like Demacia vs Noxus, Shurima, Piltover, Bandle City, etc., but what if they made somewhat of a map, villages, as well as major cities, and so on, with the use of an animated adventure? I don't know... maybe a random person meeting various Champions, going to major cities, and going on an exciting adventure, and so on... Or one or more of the champions traveling on an adventure? Like say Ahri, Yasuo, and Teemo, traveling the world for some purpose? Who knows? There is a lot of ways Riot can reap the rewards of this idea, so to speak.

All I am saying is that this idea could blossom from an idea into a reality. Food for thought? Thanks for the read and I really hope Riot can put this idea into reality. :)

Well, first Riot would have to develop a story for this.

And then they would run into technical difficulties.

Then they'd just start all over because they wanted to start a cool story in the jungles somewhere, but they needed Morde to be from there so he can be the evil leader of a tribe that worships metal.

i agree if Riot has a separate team that mainly focuses on created Animated short movies or mini-series like with Rek'Sai's teaser trailer & with Bards recently uploaded trailer (which fcking looks AMAZING) & like fully comment in releasing content every week or so then yeah i think this would be a highly recomandible & if these animated short movies or mini-series get extremely popular from the people who enjoy the game & wish to own these it could be highly profitable

although i think Riot should not "sell" their animated products instead keep them in playlist on their own Youtube Channel where people can watch them at anytime, plus if Riot made these & post them on Youtube we the players of the game & watchers of these videos can give the people at Riot feed back by our Comments on what else we would like to see happen or have suggestions for what Riot could think of making. that way we the Players & the people at Riot can be closer to make League of Legends even more better in the future.
