Does Amumu have any Friends?

In Amumu's story page it says he has not found a friend, but on his information page it says that he is friends with . Is friends with or does he not have any friends? Thanks

Amumu can be friends with others but they can't be friends with him I believe.

Amumu may decide to like others, and be their friend, but to our knowledge his friendship has never been reciprocated. Annie is actually very similar to him, and I don't believe she would have any reason to fear him. She might not want to compete with him though. (But as far as duos go, Annie + Amumu actually sounds like a really terrifying combo, and I don't want any part of that.)

I don't think it is a matter of them fearing him. The idea behind a curse is they make things different than they would otherwise be. So it isn't a matter of people fearing amumu, but rather that people simply can't be friendly with him. It is basically just one of the laws of the universe at that point.

No, no. I'd say (after carefully reading the new lore) that it has to do with the fact that being friendly with him involves close interaction. Which, via the curse, maims and kills you. Therefore it isn't safe to be friends with Amumu. I don't think the curse is actually capable of making it impossible to be friends with him, I think the curse makes being friends with him a short-lived and horrifying chapter in your life.

I just read the new lore. I agree that the whole "touch me and die" thing is kinda off putting for friendship, but considering that he has interacted with a lot of people who would probably be willing to be friends even if they couldn't touch then I feel like there must be another layer to the curse.

I believe the curse is designed to keep him from ever experiencing love. But I don't think that it can in itself affect others, I believe it only affects Amumu, and through Amumu, hurts others. That's my opinion. But since we don't know how the curse actually works, all we know is that you don't want to be close to Amumu if you value your well-being.

Its simply outdated lore. In the old lore amumu was able to befriend annie,because it seemed that there simply wasn't a reason why he didn't have any friends.

It really looks like they don't even bother to update the current site because it is so full of coding errors and just wait til they can replace it alltogether.

as shown in amumu's music video, it just seems that he is cursed and he cause death/misfortune wherever he go, therefore all living beings will avoid him and therefore he will never have friends.

annie and amumu aren't spcifically related in lore, but they interact in many skin line. just like how taric x ezreal works.

I think amumu can like people but people can return the feeling or they don’t want to. The music video shows that amumu’s presence causes bad luck which would be the reason people steer clear of him along with his “death-touch”.
