@Riot Can you please make sure the updates for splash are actually look better before updating...

I've never posted anything before, however this topic has bothered me ever since they started these updates. A while back when they first began the updates they did Jade Dragon Wukong (fav wukong skin) and IMO it just looked way more shitty and rushed than the original, then some genius at rito headquarters must have said "Wow this is so cool, I bet the community would love it if we did this to more skins!" Pls, do you actually believe to tell me that the new shaco splash updates were good? Workshop especially, that one looked like someone drew it in 10 minutes and called it good. I'm begging you riot, go back and look at the updates you've done and compare them to the originals to make sure the updates are ACTUALLY improvements. Thanks!

First of all, the newer Jade Dragon isn't that bad. That's totally your opinion.

Second of all, the majority of the splashes that were replaced without pomp and circumstance were replaced with their Chinese counterpart for the art globalization. Shaco is one who's splashes were almost all replaced with his Chinese versions.

They unified all splashes across the globe so that they could make 1 file, input it, and update it globally, instead of having to do multiple arts for multiple countries due to censorship laws. Aside from the VGUs, there are only a handful of extra splashes that have been updated. Off the top of my head, these are Fiddle Classic, Darius Classic, Blade Mistress Morgana, Cottontail Teemo, Singed Classic, Warwick Classic, and a few more.

Shaco did not receive a real skin splash art update,he merely got the chinese splash arts

You see when Riot was still rather small they made seperate splash arts for china.I think this was because Tencent didn't like Riots art-quality back then, but I'm not entirely sure about that. So they had 2 splash arts for various champions and skins. However this caused problems and slowed riot down a bit, because having 2 pipelines for the splash arts caused some bugs from time to time(and even if it wasn't the fault of the seperate splash art pipeline, they had to check it anyway) So Riot decided to abandon the second splash-pipeline altogether, which means that some champions/skins get their chinese splash arts(and those who didn't got their regular splash art in china).

I don't mind people making complaints but why use your one personal grievances (Jade Dragon Wu) as justification for your disagreement with Riots hard work?

And anyway have you seen any of the splash art that were updated? Whether one personally likes them or not doesn't matter; as they're all massive improvements. Trust some to always focus on the bad examples (Shaco's old art) rather then notice the improvements (Twitch's new art).
