Kalista, though many believe she is Lucians wife come back, I believe that it actually has more to do with the side of the shadow isles lore that we dont hear much about. The King a.k.a the ruined king once ruled over shadow isles but was overcome by grief when his daughter died and the land and kingdom fell apart. The Ruin King was also betrayed by Hecarim tho it doesn't tell us how but it must of been something major to have attracted the black fog. I believe Kalista is the ruined kings deceased daughter, that has come back to in act revenge for her father and all that betrayed.

Idk if anyone has thought this or if its realised yet but its my theory e.e

I'm too lazy to look it up for you, but a red stated in the Q&A that Kalista is not Lucian's wife.

I don't remember that it's mentioned anywhere that the Ruined King had a daughter. I also don't remember that it's mentioned anywhere that Hecarim betrayed the Ruined King. He was a betrayer of someone, for sure, as Kalista's teases and hints and the black fog points at, but no one said that he betrayed the King.

If I'm missing something I'd be glad if someone enlightens me. :)
