Blood Moon Akali 975 RP....But why?

I want to start by saying, i'm not looking for a reduction in price on this skin or Riot to refund me. I love the look of Akali's character model on this skin but, that's where the issue is. That's all there is to this 975 Skin

Now, yes I understand this wasn't rolled out recently so it's age matters but, looking at the other skins, there's no updated particle effects, no back animation change, no new taunts. It literally is a character model change for the same price as the others. All i'm asking for is a little look at her skin, see if there's something you can give it even if it's ONLY the W shroud, But something please? Pug'Maw is 975 and you can see the difference clearly between the two.

isnt the skin just old? There are alot of skins like that. Annie in wonderland comes off the top of my head

Ya it's just an old skin. It will be upgraded when she gets a VGU which I am fairly certain she is slated for within the next 2 years or so, but dont take my word for it. Pretty sure she was a "high tier" vgu candidate.

At this point, her whole skin line would probably get re-done for her VGU.

Her kamas are totally altered, the whole skin is a deviation from her base costume in notable ways. Granted, some newer 750rp skins alter as much as this older 975, but ultimately that isn't a huge RP difference worth worrying over imo. But that's just my take. A blood-red smoke cloud on W shouldn't be too much to ask for the price.
