[Lore] Swain completely disregards Talon?
Perhaps it is a bit too early to worry but after checking his interactions there's none with Talon?
From Swain's recent lines we learned two things:
1) General Du Couteau is pretty much dead. **2) ** It is possible General Du Couteau asked Katarina to assassinate Swain according to one of the taunts, could this have lead to the General being murdered in the first place?
General Du Couteau was Katarina's father and Talon's adoptive father. He became his mentor and the person Talon admired the most. He was a significant political figure in Noxus, a powerful noble and a master assassin, and one day, he vanished. Swain and the Black Rose were hinted as responsible in the Old Lore, while now we hear Swain play with this idea of being blamed.
The question is, is Talon too much of a lowlife/insignificant to be even addressed by Swain? ~~ Let's not mention he has lines for Jax and Taliyah wtf~~
It is known the Du Couteau was one of the most powerful noble houses in Noxus, and Talon "adopted". Perhaps in Swain's arrogant view, he was still a rat, a useful rat, though, as the snippet of his lore now states he assassinates for the High Command.
Does this mean Talon's search for the General -and the ones responsible for his death- continue? Is this how he searches for the truth? At least that is what Urgot's execution line reveals when killing Talon.
I admit I'm kind of disappointed, Talon's original teaser back in 2011 pretty much showed some link between him, the Black Rose, and even Beatrice perched on a blade. But now there's nothing, not even a line.
