I've read the yasuo and riven lore and in the lore it said that riven made yasuo kill a bunch of people but yasuo didnt want to do that. But i dont get why riven doesnt get the nightbringer skin and yasuo dawnbringer.

Appearantly you didn't read their lores at all....

So far Riven and Yasuo have never met at all. Yasuo was accused of murdering the elder and some people merely speculate that it was riven who did that.

Riven didn't make Yasuo kill anyone and as for cannon lore, we don't know for sure how Riven and Yasuo are related. As for why they got the skins they did, sales man. Girls want more angel like skins and boys want demonic stuff. That may sound sexist, but frankly it's true. Yes there are exceptions, but how many guys do you think would buy angelic Yasuo? Not as many as would buy Demonic Yasuo that is for sure.

Skins aren't related to lore and are to show champions in a different theme from their usually.

They wanted to make a edgelord Yasuo because they think it would sell more. Probably would've sold regardless.

Normally in modern fantasy writings, Female forces are often the "benevolent", orderly ones while Male forces are the more destructive, emotive ones. Also, Female demons rarely get representation in modern fantasy unless they have to do with lust/hypersexuality.

While Skin lore has nothing to do with the game lore, Riven, even though she willingly killed plenty, at the end she came to question her Noxian values of "strength above all" due to what she witnessed: innocents being killed without warning, she may still hold her values of strength makes right, but not exactly the unfettered "injustices" of war. On the other hand, Yasuo has also killed Noxians. He may be innocent of the murder he's accused of, and he may feel guilty about abandoning his post, his reason for killing his countrymen is still in a way selfish: he wants to clear his name of any guilt.

Because Yasuo deserved the badass skin. Riven's original model still needs visual update and it would be a waste to give the nightbringer skin to her.
