If the Shuriman Ascended are avatars, and the Targonian Ascended are aspects, and both are granted power by celestials, are they granted power by the same group of celestials? And if not, which are more powerful? I am also curious if the 2 have fought side-by-side(specifically Aatrox and Pantheon)
Aspects and Ascended draw from the same well.
They are most likely given powers by the same beings(at least thats my theory),but in different ways.
The targonian aspects seem to be literally avatars,they carry the actual celestial beings inside them,which the ascended don't seem to do.
The magic behind the Sun Disc had cosmic powers as origin, the same source of power Targon uses.
The Aspects though wield it far better than any Ascended and even Ascended are just buffed humans compared to an Aspect that has confidence in the use of their power.
Also, if they ascended get their powers through a solar disc, where does this put 
in the cosmologic power scale?
