New Client Feeling Cluttered

While browsing SS@20 I saw some pictures of the new client, and it seemed quite sharp. I really liked that you could interact with the rest of the UI while the game patched. So of course I decided to try it out! However, I quickly found myself getting overwhelmed? If that's even the right word to use. Essentially, I think that the lack of negative space and the minimalist style choice of using few borders might have gone a touch over the top. It took me about five minutes to find out how to organize my friend list.

In fairness to the team, I know this has been a long running project, and I'm just one slightly cynical voice. But perhaps a small, skippable tutorial on where everything is located? For all the easily confused folks out there!
