Eh. I don't think that's a fair comparison. If Warcraft proves to be popular (i.e. Makes a shit ton of money) execs will be looking for other ways to cash in on a potential video game movie craze as that's pretty much their job. They would likely then go to a popular game that at least has some smattering of a storyline they could adapt. Halo, Starcraft, GTA, CoD are all likely to eventually get some sort of movie release if the first couple prove to be cost effective.
That said, LoL has a huge fanbase so maybe a movie is possible but there's no central story to grab onto anymore. So I'd think a LoL movie is unlikely.
Rito Staff1 votesI don't think so though D:
They pionereed in it, and after someone does something for the 1st time... Everyone else follows, in case the movie is a success.
It's like series we get on TV now, CSI was the big hit and every other series was copying it, making their own version of criminal investigation, every episode a new case, no big developments in characters storyline.
Look now, I'm not sure what serial gave an example to the others, but we've been getting more immersive cinematic series (Daredevil as an example of one that I watch)
Tl;dr, if the WoW movie turns out to be good people will demand more of it, the line now crossed it would be a matter of time untill, pixar? :D, lookup some LoL lore to get interested.
