gnar's new lore update

When I read through gnar's, as a gnar main, I thought to myself that the ancient and wise beasts he went to live with might Be Poros , or at least some relative/ancestor to them. Might be to fantasied but I'd like to hear player and official reposes. I know they are supposed to be the yetis in nunu's story, but i guess overall are they related to poros?
