Lore+Gameplay

So riot, as a lore junkie I've got a question. With the recent addition of Kayn/Rhaast you said in their story that the noxian soldier who grabbed Rhaast started attacking his own allies. This got me thinking about maybe the introduction to a new feature to some darkin characters.

What if, upon transformation into Rhaast, Kayn lost his mana bar and it was replaced with a rage bar similar to Tryndamere's. Now this is how the lore comes into play, what if while in combat Rhaast's rage meter increases allowing his spells and attacks to do increased damage to enemies and healing to himself, but at say 75-100% full it causes him to emit an aura that does damage to allies in a certain vicinity to him or his skill shots do reduced damage to allies. Making him somewhat of a drain tank but also following the concept of the lore where the darkin race lives for war.

I have a feeling this won't be implemented but I just got kind of curious if that was ever a concept you've thought about using before.

Bad bad concept for pvp, more interesting in a pve.

Lore and gameplay should not be connected much because it only brings problems and limits the story a lot, the Gangplank event where they disabled him for a week was a mess and its not possible to make Aurelion Sol the strongest champion ingame just because he is in lore. The main reason why the old lore had to be scrapped was because of this connection between lore/gameplay that was causing issues. They also can't kill any of the characters lorewise when they are connected with gameplay and even when they do they have to bring them back after just like the fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc where they kill characters and then they bring them back its a huge mess.

Blizzard did a very clever thing with Heroes of the Storm where it has a character rooster of 4 different games that have big lore without connecting the gameplay to them and limiting anything.
