About Varus...

I love Varus and am personally conflicted which lore I like the most. In the old lore he's lost everything and is willing to sacrifice himself for vengeance. In the new lore, mistakes were made out of desperation leaving one man to unleash a terrible entity. Both are horrifying tragedies.

With that said, I think I would've preferred an amalgamation of these two. What if Kai had died? In the Pit, at the Pit, no where near the Pit, I don't really care. Three's a crowd, remember? Valmar would've lost all semblance of reason and Varus (or Vaarus as some have rightly pointed out) would be very willing to give him what he wants whilst getting what he wants in return. They could be very sympathetic towards each other: humans killed my kin; hey, Noxians killed mine. We'd still have the internal conflict as described in the comic, similar-ish to Kayn and Rhaast. Also the voice lines would still make sense.

What I'm trying to say is: I like the new lore, but Kai is nothing more than an accessory.

At this point, I'm siding with Varus and hoping he murders everything in sight.

Give me a reason to root for Val. Kai has to go.
