Dear Riot:

Today you have done it, I'm very unpleased with your ways of always trying to get more profit and breaking your promises again and again, since I bought originally for 2012 Championship Riven and you clearly stated it would be a LIMITED skin not to be sold again, what do you give us in exchange of breaking your promise?.... a little and really unimpressive rework of the skin which has a crown and slightly brighter particles on ult... that's all, instead of giving us a RP refund since we already had it you give us a very poor work for it and well all the other skins have that little crown which is really not a flashy or wonderful thing to be honest.

Trying to make up for your mistakes covering it with a "exclusive" little treat isn't the way... a scam is a scam

The skin they are selling is not the one you have. It is Championship Riven 2016. You will receive unique Ult particles and a crown, and a loading screen border indicating you have the original, and you will also get the new 2016 model if you wish to use that one. The vast majority of the community has been for this for a very long time, sorry.

Why are you complaining when you're an owner of the OG skin? Riot has made it so that other players know that you own the old version of the skin and not one of the newer players who want the rare skin. They probably did this since it wouldn't make much sense to only have riven as a limited skin for the championship skin series. Otherwise they would've made thresh, shyv, kali, and zed also limited skins. And it's not really a scam if they're selling the skin for the same exact price you bought it for (unless you got it for free from attending season 2 world's).

Did you forget that they are a for profit gaming studio that has made one of the best free to play games? How else are they supposed to make money except by coming up with ways to get people to spend their money? They could of made League "pay to play" or "pay to win", but no, they made it so you can experience every part of the game without spending anything but time. So give them a break will ya? If you don't want to spend money, then don't.

So just because you bought and enjoyed the skin for ~5 years, you should get it for free? I had Riot Kayle since a little after I started this game, yet you don't hear me complaining about everyone else getting it for free, but here you are complaining that other people are getting a chance to be able to buy a worse version of a skin you own?
