The Darkin Orphan : Golden Queen..and the Golden skin boy... Theory(targon-Shurima-Darkin)

The golden queen and the golden skin boy (+dianaleona theory +kaylemorg rework theory) Warning:long read,lots of loose ends tied up

_The leader raised a callused hand as he saw a lone figure standing athwart the settlement's street. He grinned as he saw it was a woman. Finally, something worth plundering. Light inflamed her, and the grin fell from his face as he stepped closer and saw she was clad in ornate warplate. Auburn hair spilled from a golden circlet and sunlight glinted from her heavy Shield of Daybreak shield and long-bladed Zenith Blade sword.

More warriors emerged from the street, taking their place to either side of the woman, each gold-armored and bearing a long spear.

"These lands are under my protection", she said.

in leona lore she fights creatures on the mountain and she sees a "gold skin boy" but he has horns and bat like wings (hinting at a darkin like form)

this is the only time at least to what i remember beside the golden queen with flaming hair that a golden character is mentioned...the golden queen is the one who banished the darkins and Targon might have helped shurimah create the sun discs

i really think theres is a connection between the golden queen and the gold skin boy

sidenote: maybe these people werent really golden all the time but were while they are fighting or afraid.....the in game effect of and bard ultimate all make things invulnerable but in statis with a gold like effect on people....imagine if their used to be a way back then for powerfull beings to be in "Gold God Mode" without being unable to move

from the lore: _She was fascinated by the mists wreathing the summit and often wondered what might lie beyond them. That fascination did not stop her from fighting the ferocious beasts, inhuman entities and pallid, eyeless strangers that came down the mountain.

_She fought and killed them as she had been taught until one day when young Leona encountered a golden-skinned boy with horns and bat-like wings wandering on the mountainside. He did not speak her language, but it was clear he was lost and frightened. His skin shimmered with soft light, and though everything she had been taught since birth told her to attack, Leona could not bring herself to murder someone so obviously helpless. Instead, she led the boy to a pathway leading to the summit, watching as he walked into a ray of sunlight and vanished. _ When she returned to the Rakkor, she found herself accused of failing in her duty to the sun. A boy named PantheonSquare Atreus had seen her leading a creature of the mountain to safety instead of killing it. Atreus had told his father what Leona had done and he in turn denounced her as a heretic for going against the beliefs of her people. _ Theory: what if this gold skin boy was a mere baby the last of the darkin and in front of the undeniable innocence of this little being Targon could not resort to genocide the councils of targon voted to protect and raise it as one of their own (also a valuable hostage if the weaponized darkins get freed) So wed have a darkin with targonian powers so darkins are like a methaphore to the pandora box it unleashed evil but the Goldskinboy is the aspect of Hope...he who with Hope; asked to be spared from imprisonement and begged for his life...he who with hope ;might forgive his adoptive parents for the mistakes they have done...he who with hope; might be the key to sealing the void away for good.

he is the one testing leona at mt.targon and recognize her as the future avatar of the aspect of the sun cause she spared him like the golden queen(ancient aspect of the sun probably)did before....

from the lore : __Eventually Leona reached the top of the mountain, breathless, exhausted, starved and stripped of all thought save punishing Diana. There, sitting on a rock at the top of the mountain was the same golden-skinned boy whose life she had spared as a child. Behind him, the sky burned with blazing light, a borealis of impossible colors and the suggestion of a majestic city of gold and silver. In its fluted towers and glittering minarets, Leona saw how the Solari temple echoed its magnificence and fell to her knees in rapture. _ The golden-skinned boy spoke to her in the old Rakkor tongue, telling her he had been waiting for her to follow him since that day, and that he hoped she wasn't too late. He held out his hand and offered to show her miracles and to know the minds of gods.

_Leona had never turned from anything in her life. She took the boy's hand as he smiled and led her into the light. A column of searing illumination stabbed down from the heavens and engulfed Leona. She felt an awesome presence filling her limbs with terrifying power and forgotten knowledge from the earliest epochs of the world. Her armor and weapons burned to ash in the cosmic fire and were in turn reborn as ornate warplate, a Shield of Daybreak shield of sunlight wrought in gold and a Zenith Blade sword of chained dawnlight. _ The warrior who came down the mountain looked the same as the one who had climbed it, but inside Leona was much changed. She still had her memories and thoughts, was still master of her own flesh, but a sliver of something vast and inhuman had chosen her to be its mortal vessel. It gifted her with incredible powers and awful knowledge that haunted her eyes and weighed heavily upon her soul; knowledge she could only ever share with one person.

1: lets say kayle and morg are targonians in their future rework and the main story is based on that vote to spare or not this darkin child life...morg and kayle are the two sides of justice maybe kayle representing the judge,the hammer of targon,the one who punish the accused whit an emphasis on law and justice while morg is like the lawyer the scale of targon the one who defends the accused with en emphasis on liberty and freedom they are sisters and they are a whole individual aspect each unlike diana and leona wich i explain below

2: the strange secret connection between leona and diana might be that they were one single aspect before : the aspect of light that splitted in sun and moon aspects maybe they are destined to fuse bask together or whatnot to become a greater aspect of light . this separation could be explained by that very vote:

knowing that if taric kayle and (leona\diana fusion)lets call it light aspect were to vote against pantheon 3x1,pantheon would tilt, this would mean civil war..unable to pick sides and trying to consider all the options and possibilities she actually splitted in two and became two separete individual entities ,diana voted on the same way as pantheon but voted to lock the child it also allowed her to temper pantheon anger at losing the vote,her other self leona voted to protect and raise the child as one of Targon like a mother warms her offsprings... the power of light aspect was divided between sun and moon but theyre added combined power do not equal the ancient aspect of light power a little light is still missing ...hope wich now resides within the darkin orphan

(this might also explain why diana and leona kept their personalities they are not possesed/imbued by a whole aspect like pantheon is and also taric its just being the aspect of the protector he had to protect taric personality from himself so he was allowed to keep some of his personality and memories)

3 choices were given either kill the darkin boy...Lock him in a weapon...or adopt him and raise him as one of targon

aspect who voted to protect and raise him: Taric, Leona, Kayle

Zoe(unknown/lock):was nowhere to be found when the vote took place and her opinions on the subject are unknown tho it is rumored she wanted to turn him in a stuffed animal...

morgana(free) claimed that all the choices ether meant death or imprisonement and since none of them offered to free the boy it seemed like a unbalanced choice shes refused to take part in the vote claiming it was a mascarade. further fight and disagreement with her sister and other aspect about the faith of the golden skin boy, the enslavement of aurelion sol and many other ways targon was interfering in cosmic conflicts made her leave targon...now failling to have acces to targons power her corporeal form is fading and she must revert to different mean to maintain composure or her essence might disperse forever.....she runs from and confronts kayle who is trying to bring her back to targon and make sure she doesnt fade away...

3:if not targonian the other reference to gold goes to sivir as sivir is supposed to be the descendant of an ancient ascended hero and we are missing a female shurima ascended, azir soldiers all wear golden armor Nasus armor is made of gold, the sun disc are made of gold... so gold is a big thing for shurimans maybe the golden queen was the ancestor of sivir

while some lore connect her as a descendant of setaka... other to azir.... but i think the setaka bloodline is more probable and more powerfull

_“If you’re here to take it back, then you and I might have a problem.” _ _Nasus dropped to one knee and crossed his hands over his chest. _ “You are of the Ascended Bloodline. The weapon is yours to bear, for the blood of emperors runs in your veins. It resurrected Azir** and Shurima**, so that has to mean something.

and in azir lore it states she is his last descendant but she actually is more than just azir descendants as nasus served under setaka and fought by her side for 3 centuries... thats way before azir ascendend....nasus is looking for someone with azirs blood and is ready to bleed em dry to obtain it but when smells sivir he s even more excited

From the Lore:Nasus pushed through the terrified crowds, moving steadily eastward, following the spoor of potent blood he now scented. The hierophant had been a fraud, his blood weak and diluted after thousands of years, but the one he now sensed...? They were strong. He could hear the thunder of a heart beating within a mortal breast. This person came from a line of emperors and warrior queens; men and women of towering ambition and strength. Nasus gets down and one knees with his hand over his chest he actually make a vow to serve and protect her he does say she has to run cause xerath will stop at nothing to end azir bloodline so they might share blood but not from the exactly same bloodline

From the Lore: Azir saw none of this. For him, all was nothingness. His last memories were of pain and fire; he knew nothing of what befell him atop the temple, nor what became of his empire. He remained lost in timeless oblivion until, thousands of years after Shurima’s doom, **the blood of his last descendant **spilled onto the temple ruins and resurrected him. Azir was reborn, but was yet incomplete; his body little more than animate dust given form, held together by the last vestiges of his indomitable will.

Gradually resuming his corporeal form, Azir stumbled through the ruins and came across the corpse of a woman with a treacherous knife wound in her back. He did not know her, but saw in her features the distant echo of his bloodline. All thoughts of empires and power were forgotten as he lifted this daughter of Shurima and bore her to what had once been the Oasis of the Dawn. The oasis was empty and dry, but with every step Azir took, clear water began filling the rocky basin. Azir immersed the woman’s body in the restorative waters of the oasis and as the blood washed away, only a faint scar remained where the blade had pierced her.
