Some Vladimir lore love?

Just personal preference as there are other champs i wouldn't mind seeing in a video or getting some lore love but why no vladimir? With the recent beautiful amumu video (which i personally loved) it kind of struck me that hey we're getting to see a bit more of champs we haven't seen much of before and expanded on amumu's lore giving us questions to ask (which i know some disagree but i feel it does). Vlad i believe is one of the oldest champs yet ive never seen in video besides his champ overview. It would be interesting to see him in action as well as reveal that he is in fact a psychopath obsessed with blood and not the guy confused to be the vampire of league of legends. Opinions?

It actually seems like the lore team themselves are confused as to who Vladimir is. The original lore presented him as a sort of Noxian Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, a suave and charming character who is subconsciously fascinated by the flow of blood, which makes him impulsively driven to hurt and kill others. His League Judgment also showed that his "condition" causes him a great deal of discomfort, as he is aware of his "addiction" to slaughter but doesn't want to accept it as a part of himself. That is why most of his dialogue is puns, he wants a relaxed and lighthearted life in spite of his condition.

Meanwhile, his new lore portrays him as an insidious mustache-curling villain of a blood mage who works with LeBlanc and Swain to first take over Noxus, then the rest of the world.

So basically, there are two Vladimirs in the lore who are quite different from each other and Riot themselves seem to have problems figuring out his identity.

Yeah i can get this, while i can actually see both versions of his lore put together (him being a crazed psychopath obsessed with blood hidden behind his mask of charm and prestige in nox) the lore in his current champ description is kind of odd to me. All you get is he is disturbed in his obsession with blood but then the rest is just thrown in from left field with him learning his talents by wondering into a random temple place were there happens to be a monk that teaches him basically blood bending which seems very far from what we see in game and elsewhere. The lore itself seems less focused on vlad and more on this temple/monk hell it even starts with "there is a temple hidden in between the mountains". Also i have yet to get an answer to why apparently Elise is a friend of his while leblanc isnt and why darius is a rival.

Not really. How he's shown in Sion's relaunch didn't really portray much of anything. He could just as easily have been contracted for his work and have no real stake in what the reasons for reviving Sion were.

I personally would like to see vlad as sort of free lance doing what ever what he wants heck they could even make him a mercenary though I will confess that would be a little bit cheesy however a little cheese in LoL isn't a bad thing
