Ali's lore update doesn't really feel like an update
I mean there's very little new here. Clan murdered by Noxus, freed by girl, girl vanished, etc. Same as his previous lore. Kind of a letdown.

I think Alistar’s story pre-retcon had a pretty good baseline anyways, so there’s no real need to change it. At least we know he has a place in the lore now.
Although a color story to flesh him out more would have also been nice.
It's less an update & more like a modernization to make Ali's lore fit with the canon Runeterra. A whole lot of new wasn't necessary for the bio.
They're just saving the new for future Ali content.
