Singed lore / Warwick Update referenced in Yorick's VO?

In the current Yorick rework, his interaction with Singed is as follows: "You think you want immortality. I'll gladly give you mine."

Is this desire ever referenced in his old and beyond outdated lore? If that's the case can someone clear me up? Much appreciated.

This might be something akin to Aurelion's interaction with Taric. Just my two cents. Just more lore focused than mechanic and visual wise, since he's had some changes in that regard already.

Another potential connection might be his partnership with Warwick, since his champion update's next. Maybe Singed will get a lore update alongside WW!

Hey if Singed gets his lore updated in ANY REGARD I'll be happy because he hasn't been canon since 2012.

In any case the interaction is interesting, and I suppose it indicates that Riot's pushing Singed towards being a mad alchemist in pursuit of the ultimate elixir, to grant him eternal life? Would make sense I suppose given what his current ult actually does for him in the way of regeneration.

Looks like Riot might be using my canon.

Also, let me explain. Singed is an alchemist of sorts. He experiments on people to find what he calls the Philosopher's stone, which can rid humans of all their flaws, including mortality. That is why Singed is so reckless and manages to make vile concoctions that can melt people.

One thing I thought is weird is that Yorick has no taunts for Evelynn. We know she is high likely to get a full VGU/Relaunch next year so this leaves a question, is Evelynn still from the Shadow Isles? Is she just a non confirmable myth like Amumu? If she still is from the shadow isles, what does she know about The Ruined King? Will we get The King finally as a champion after he took such a important role in the lore that can't really be "just" a side character? So many questions, poor answers. Hopefully the Evelynn update tells us more (if it should come next year).

I'm actually curious if Singed's bombs are still what makes Riven go into exile in the new lore.
