Riot! Stop cheating us on the lore!

I've been playing League for almost 6 years now and Rito has never been so lax on the lore. Back in the day, they put out a newspaper for lore corresponding to current champions or skins that were being released. Now, I'm not asking for them to bring back that because I realize that it would take some effort, but they should at least bring back the champion lore. All the new and updated champs are getting downright screwed on the lore, they get a few sentences at most. The other champs still have multiple paragraphs of lore that really tie the champs together. The lore is one of my favorite parts of League but lately it has definitely been lackluster. I think Riot should put more effort into the champion lore considering they bring a lot to the table when they produce other content. Work Harder! Thoughts?

That wall of text is kinda right!

Personally, I agree with most of what you say. However, I don't think the problem is Riot not putting enough effort into their lore.

Just check out their last few lore events! They obviously put a lot of effort into those, despite their shortcomings.

The problem is that Riot established its game which, at least in part, succeeded due to the consistent high quality lore updates that Riot used to produce. Back when Runeterra actually seemed to matter since matters of consequence actually happened there.

Champions had a reason to fight within the League of Legends. RIot even nailed the role-playing aspect by making players feel like summoners.

The concept of Summoner's was soo cool! I still have no idea why Riot scrapped it from their lore! This decision was never explained and still feels really stupid.

For some reason that I still don't understand, because Riot never gave us a detailed, decently explained reasoning for their retcon decision, all of that awesome stuff went straight to the garbage can.

I think Riot's still putting in the effort, but they've chosen a really stupid direction to take their lore in. At the very least, it's far less interesting and far less immersive than what they were doing before in my opinion.

for those who down voted i think he is not talking about the lore it's self it's what riot do with it they post it then forget about it tell they need to majorly rework the champ (poppy for example sake) like maybe if they did more with it like cenimatics or other things
