Ekko reminds me of Curtis from Misfits.

If you are not familiar with Misfits, it is a show in which a freak storm gives some kids in England superpowers. Curtis (who is black) gets the power to reset time in similarly limited ways. I'd like to ask if the creators at Riot were at all influenced by the show in creating Ekko. Probably just coincidence, but still interesting to me.
