Any news on Traditional Skins returning?

Was just wondering if we could get any information on the state or idea of Traditional skins. Would love to see an HD version of Classic Taric maybe even where he has his shield again :D

Riot stated a while back they don't want to do those anymore

you can see all the skins of each champion with the new client, even the non-available ones

The problem with that is that they want to keep the silhouette intact in all of the skins of any champion. So since Taric has nothing in his right hand on his standardmodel he will likely never wear anything on his right hand ever again.
