On topic though. Hairfix is better. But maybe slightly shorter bangs. Having less hair tied up just fits her better.

Just need to rename it to Dauntless now and I'd buy it. Enough though I've sucked with Ahri hard for the last year despite her being the first champion I played and got good at.

Dauntless: Fearless. Does not get intimidated Challenger: One who competes in championship. A person who challenges.
We can see which one is the clear winner here.

Chromatic Eagle2 votesBut if it weren't for challenger being the highest tier, challenger skins would make sense. You start off as a challenger, gain a better skin if you're victorious, and gain a championship skin when you're a champion. From a thematic angle.
IRawrAtYou1 votesI guess they thought of challenger since you are entering the fight as a new challenger (you're a new challenger entering the arena) in the new season and this skin IS for the start of the season. Plus, when we are a challenger (the opponent of the enemy team), we are seen as red/purple name/healthbar to them. But Dauntless just sounds cooler. All challengers are not winners and Dauntless is more imposing. I like the concept that I'm fearless going into battle (Dauntless) rather than that I'm just a challenger that comes in to fight (Challenger).

Also the name needs to be reverted back to Dauntless. Whoever thinks Challenger doesn't sound lame is clearly not fluent in English.

IRawrAtYou2 votesAnother interesting thing is that they drew her eyes slightly more apart than normal. I noticed this when I made her headpiece smaller.
Edit: You can notice her left eye is positioned a little further away from her nose than her other eye.

I'd say the third picture looks best to me, the fourth one just has a bit too much hair in front.

Charmed by Ahri1 votesyour probs right on both ideas, i mean the original makes her look legit. Shes soo pretty and yet so fierce and kawaii at the same time. Black skin tight leather Ahri mid rush coming at you with the power of the 9 tailed fox to blow just a kiss. You can see all her power emanating from her orb to all around the spalsh. The short hair seemed soo good, reminds me of catwoman abit and she looks soo primal, very animilistic if that makes sense at all. Just the other splashes take away from the concept of the skin. I should've said this, and not my original response.
HexTechBomber1 votesWhat I think about the original is that the longer head piece near the forehead to nose bridge is there to cover up the empty space that is her forehead, what I like though is the 3rd one peekingeyeahri.jpg because not only does it look nicer it has more taste to it and the hair covers up the empty forehead space!

They drew the headpiece before they drew her eyes though, because her eyes are spaced a little too apart. You can see it in the picture I commented with to FantasyDreamer. I had to move her left eye closer.
What I disliked most was her eyebrows. Though fierce, it didn't seem...."Ahri"-like to me. So although it is slightly unnoticeable, I lengthened and softened her eyebrows as well (smallheadpiece.jpg). But the bangs solved that problem much better =3
HexTechBomber1 votesWhile I actually like the fierce look in her eyes because it brings out the feeling of the kitsune in her. It shows that part of her blood, since after all she feeds on the essence of men to stabilize her human form.
I'm not 100% fond of the hairfix.jpg because if you think about it, her ult lets her dash around the map and well you wouldn't want your hair possibly clouding your vision. Again I thoroughly enjoy the peekingeyeahri.jpg because it gives a feel of power still while not messing with her eyes and covering up the area of her forehead.

IRawrAtYou1 votesEspecially since it's a nice new look for her, right? Aesthetically wise, I just liked her with more hair since, usually when you take photos, you show off your "best", and I think of it like a photoshoot she took before she went off to battle and retied her hair XD.
But I definitely get what you're saying since her hair tied back more definitely matches her theme. Looks more clean cut and fluid. I'm just biased for more hair.
Edit: That's why I gave different options for people with different opinions. I'm going to change the picture for the splash when it comes out =3
